My heart started beating on the beautiful island of Jamaica but it now beats in England. Life has been quite interesting so far and the glass is definitely half full.
My passions are music and photography. These interests have been lying dormant for years because I got so caught up with “life” I didn’t believe them to be priorities. Not realising that by ignoring those passions I killed a part of who I am. I believe I have reached a turning point in my life and I’m now on a path of rediscovery. I intend to unearth these passions that I had buried and I’d like to use this blog to share, not only my photos, but as a medium to express my thoughts and views.
Hopefully, they will mean something to someone who believe their life has become mundane and stagnant and that their glass is half empty. Who think they are alone in their fight. Hopefully by sharing my thoughts, emotions and experiences it will break the unspoken rule that men are not allowed to openly express themselves. Hopefully someone will be able to relate to what I’m saying. Hopefully this blog will help to save a life. Hopefully…I can inspire change.
I’m an avid Liverpool FC supporter…YNWA!! and I like the things that most men like…sports, food, beer, music, films, etc. I also love live music, visiting galleries and museums.
Big thanks to my two friends Mr. Arturo Viola and Mr. Francesco Jacobello for their encouragement, advice and for giving me the push I needed to get started.
Hope you enjoy reading, looking, etc. One Love and God bless.
Love this hunny . Look forward to seeing more x

I cannot believe it: I lived in London 4 years ago 🙂 Camden/islington York way 🙂 cannot remember the number but its the street to the right of kings cross station 🙂
And photography is also my passion (music too, but I think that’s a common thing) I haven’t taken any pictures since I got together with my ex… Last summer, also due to the cold weather.
Anyhow: I love London 😀 and wanted to share this

Small world huh? Go dig your camera out and start shooting again! I remember now why I love it, it gets me out, going to different places. Seeing things, seeing beyond what is. Not just looking but actually seeing…beyond the physical. Gaining insight. I’ve missed it and glad i’ve started again. you should too

I enjoyed your blog that mentions color therapy. I am a color therapist and I can tell you without a doubt that color can make a difference. I work with complementary colors (across from each other on the color wheel). I am not surprised that you find that yellow and violet help seasonal disorder. Yellow and purple are complementary colors. They balance mind and spirit; thoughts and intuition.

My pleasure and thanks for the kind words. Sometimes something drastic has to happen in this life for us to realise that we are worth and capable of doing and experiencing more than we ever thought that we are, what is possible and what we can accomplish. One love brother.

Thank you for the lovely sentiments Natalia. I am humbled by your kind words. I’m glad you like the name Damiology. I am continuing to learn more about myself everyday. To embrace who I am and what I can give. I will continue to share my thoughts and observations and hopefully touch someone in the right way. As for the photos….big learning curve! The wordpress family is very inspirational and motivating and my photos are reflecting what I’ve learned from the community with a sprinkling of damo :D. Thanks for visiting. One love 🙂

You seem to have a positive mind good enough to go with the flow of life’s teachings. I think more and more of us are being awakened to that… line of thought (if I can call it that way).
Take care 🙂

Hi, Thank you for liking my post “Real Irish Stones”. I am looking forward to getting your posts. To me B&W is “real” photography. Must admit to falling into the colour trap at times, but B&W has so much more meat to it. Des.

Here’s a message from Türkiye to say “thank you” Damian. I appreciate your recent ‘follow’, knowing how many interesting and entertaining blogs there are out there.
Blogging since June 2013, my little corner of the world tries to offer an eclectic smattering of posts, from basic amateur photography, to sharing my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day-to-day happenings here on our fruit farm in southern Turkey. I also throw in a few of my observations on life and lighter-hearted stuff for good measure.
You are more than welcome to have a look around, stay a while and have a trawl through my collection. There are plenty of categories within the drop-down menus to help in said digging process. Of course, if you have any comments, suggestions or concerns, feel free to let me know – I’m not easily offended 🙂
Hope you have a great day…
