My first moon shot. This was tough going. I know they say a good workman doesn’t blame his tools, but…..Major learning curve! Really struggled to get a sharp image and this was the best I could do with what I have. Will gladly welcome any tips. One love πŸ™‚

  1. I totally understand your struggle. I’ve done a few halfway decent moon shots and my main tip is, brace against something. If you don’t have a tripod you can use, brace against a vehicle, fence, or something else very sturdy. I like those fences that have the v shaped cutouts on top. If you want to take your picture from a chair, a dry sponge mop makes a pretty darn nice monopod – you rest the camera on the sponge, hold it steady with your hands, and go.
