These red pillars, built in 1864, “formed part of the old railway bridge which carried theΒ London and Dover into St Paulβs Station.” In 1985 the bridge was taken down due to its inability to support modern trains. The supports (the red pillars) remained. Originally built in rows of three, the third pillar in each row was used to support the new bridge that was later built. The other two were used to support equipment for the new Blackfriars rail bridge. Lot’s more interesting information here. To see more entries in this week’s photo challenge click here. One love π

Don’t you wish sometimes you could just lose yourself in the music? The impact it can have on us is incredible. Did you know that music therapy is “an established psychological clinical intervention, which is delivered by registered music therapists, to help people of all ages, whose lives have been affected by injury, illness or disability through supporting their psychological, emotional, cognitive, physical, communicative and social needs.” I lifted that quote from here. Very powerful tool. We need to tap into it more. Have a musical weekend.Β One love π

Moon
My first moon shot. This was tough going. I know they say a good workman doesn’t blame his tools, but…..Major learning curve! Really struggled to get a sharp image and this was the best I could do with what I have. Will gladly welcome any tips. One love π
